About Us
The
Badminton Estate lies in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside
and
is home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort.
The House dates from the 17th
century and is set in a beautiful deer park which hosts the world famous
Badminton Horse Trials. The game of Badminton was invented in the house in
1863.
Whilst it remains a private family home, Badminton House and its surrounding
gardens and parkland, offers a unique and wonderful venue for weddings and
private parties. It is equally suited to corporate meetings and hospitality and with
a number of large and smaller rooms available, each with their own distinctive style,
this beautiful and historic house and its parkland can provide the perfect backdrop
for
a wide range of events and occasions.
