Badminton Crest

The Badminton Estate

Badminton House, a fine country house set in its own parkland and beautiful

gardens, is an impressive and elegant setting for your wedding and there can

be few other locations in the country that can compare with it.

Standing a very short walk across the South Garden from the house is the

family and village church, which, by arrangement with the Vicar, can be used

for weddings and blessings and can comfortably seat up to 200.

Badminton House has an impressive range of rooms, all with large open fires,

that can be used for your celebrations.  A large Drawing Room, a small dining

room and two large adjoining rooms of great individual character, The Old Hall

and The Old Kitchen, which can be used either individually or in combination

and are accessed by the impressive West Front entrance.

The Old Hall has been the dining hall for successive Dukes of Beaufort, their

families and their household since the 18th century and in this room there is a

magnificent dining table, which, can seat from 8 to 28 when fully extended and

looks wonderful when laid for a special occasion The Old Kitchen,

with its beautiful working range and the original copper pans and utensils,

adjoins The Old Hall and is a room of great character.   Both rooms can

comfortably seat 65 or 120 standing.
